This patient had a combined issue of age-related changes and infection causing a condition known as Ectropion. This issue causes tearing, watery eyes, irritation of the eye, and possible injury to the eye. He was repaired with a lid tightening procedure called a tarsal strip. Additionally, his right eye function was helped by a canthoplasty; note the increased show of the white eye on the right. He appears here one month after his surgery.
