Ear Surgery Photos - Case #801

Patient Case #801

This is a young woman who wanted to reduce the prominence of her ears. She also wanted to add some natural shape and curvature to the insider ear called in antihelical fold. This otoplasty or ear pinning surgery was performed with a small incision behind the ear. Her sutures were removed from her incision and seven days and she looks great in this photograph one month after her surgery. The patient elected to have the surgery performed under local anesthesia.
